Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery
Dr. Neelima Tummala is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery (ABOHNS). She joined the Division of Otolaryngology of The GW Medical Faculty Associates in October 2018. She is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
Her area of clinical expertise is general otolaryngology (ENT) including sinus and nasal disorders, ear disease, and voice and swallowing concerns. She also has a special interest in the effects of climate change on population health.
Dr. Tummala attended Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Nutritional Biochemistry with a minor in Spanish, and a master's degree in Nutrition. She earned her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, and she completed her residency training in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem, North Carolina.
