Trauma Surgeon
Susan Kartiko, MD, PhD, FACS is an assistant professor of surgery at The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences. Dr. Kartiko completed medical school and training in general surgery at Aber Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. She completed a fellowship in surgical critical care at Boston University Medical Center. She worked at the University of Massachusetts-Baystate Medical Center from 2016-2019 in the Division of Trauma, Emergency Surgery and Surgical Critical Care.
Dr. Kartiko’s research interests include surgical education, trauma surgery and geriatric trauma.
