The George Washington University Hospital Women’s Board, Inc. (Women’s Board) is defined as a charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code of 1986. The organization has provided over 120 years of uninterrupted volunteer service.
The Women’s Board is organized exclusively to further the charitable and educational purposes of the hospital, its constituents and the local community in the areas of healthcare, education, healthcare advancement initiatives, patient advocacy, healthcare awareness promotion, and medical research.
